Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is set at NPR 134.06, while the selling rate stands at NPR 134.66.
For the Euro, the buying rate is fixed at NPR 147.89, and the selling rate at NPR 148.56. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 176.55 and a selling rate of NPR 177.34. Meanwhile, the Swiss Franc is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 157.47 and a selling rate of NPR 158.17.
The exchange rate for the Australian dollar is set at NPR 91.72 for buying and NPR 92.13 for selling. Similarly, the Canadian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 98.91 and a selling rate of NPR 99.35. The Singapore dollar’s buying rate is set at NPR 103.31, while its selling rate is NPR 103.77.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.15 and the selling rate is NPR 9.19. The Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 19.10 for buying and NPR 19.19 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal’s exchange rate is NPR 35.70 for buying and NPR 35.86 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 36.78 and a selling rate of NPR 36.94.
Additionally, the Thai Baht is being traded at NPR 4.05 for buying and NPR 4.07 for selling. The UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 36.50 and a selling rate of NPR 36.66, while the Malaysian Ringgit is set at NPR 31.77 for buying and NPR 31.91 for selling. The South Korean Won (100 units) is priced at NPR 10.01 for buying and NPR 10.05 for selling. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 13.04, and the selling rate is NPR 13.08, while the Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 19.83 and a selling rate of NPR 19.92.
According to NRB, the exchange rate for the Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 17.27 for buying and NPR 17.35 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar stands at a buying rate of NPR 438.12 and a selling rate of NPR 440.08. Meanwhile, the Bahraini Dinar’s buying rate is NPR 355.48, and the selling rate is NPR 357.07.
For the Indian Rupee, the exchange rate is fixed at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 units.
NRB has also noted that these rates may be revised at any time as necessary. Additionally, it has been stated that the exchange rates determined by commercial banks might vary, and the latest rates are available on the NRB’s official website.
