Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign exchange rates for Tuesday, revealing a decrease in the value of the Japanese Yen compared to Monday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is set at NPR 9.32, while the selling rate is NPR 9.36, down from Monday’s buying rate of NPR 9.42 and selling rate of NPR 9.46.
The exchange rates for other major currencies have also been announced. The buying rate for one US dollar stands at NPR 134.04, with a selling rate of NPR 134.64. For the Euro, the buying rate is NPR 147.96, and the selling rate is NPR 148.62. The British Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 175.36 and a selling rate of NPR 176.14.
Additionally, the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 157.87 and a selling rate of NPR 158.58, while the Australian Dollar is set at NPR 89.22 for buying and NPR 89.62 for selling. The Canadian Dollar is valued at NPR 98.85 for buying and NPR 99.29 for selling, and the Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 102.54 and a selling rate of NPR 103.00.
For the Chinese Yuan, the buying rate is NPR 18.83, with a selling rate of NPR 18.92. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is valued at NPR 35.71 for buying and NPR 35.87 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 36.77 and a selling rate of NPR 36.94.
The Thai Baht is set at NPR 3.95 for buying and NPR 3.96 for selling. The UAE Dirham is valued at NPR 36.49 for buying and NPR 36.66 for selling.
Other currencies include the Malaysian Ringgit, which has a buying rate of NPR 30.66 and a selling rate of NPR 30.80. The South Korean Won, with a buying rate of NPR 9.95 per 100 units and a selling rate of NPR 9.99, and the Swedish Krona, with a buying rate of NPR 12.92 and a selling rate of NPR 12.98, have also been updated. The Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 19.83 and a selling rate of NPR 19.92.
Meanwhile, the Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 17.19 for buying and NPR 17.27 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is valued at NPR 438.73 for buying and NPR 440.69 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 355.61 and a selling rate of NPR 357.20.
The NRB has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time, if necessary. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may vary and that updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
