Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday, showing a slight decrease in the value of major currencies like the US Dollar, Euro, and Pound Sterling compared to Monday.
According to NRB, the buying rate for one US Dollar is set at NPR 133.71, and the selling rate is NPR 134.31, down from Tuesday’s buying rate of NPR 133.93 and selling rate of NPR 134.53. Similarly, the buying rate for the Euro is NPR 148.88, and the selling rate is NPR 149.55, slightly lower than Tuesday’s rates of NPR 148.94 and NPR 149.60, respectively.
The Pound Sterling has also seen a decrease, with today’s buying rate set at NPR 176.65 and the selling rate at NPR 177.44. This is down from Tuesday’s rates of NPR 176.77 and NPR 177.57, respectively.
In addition to these major currencies, NRB has set the Swiss Franc’s buying rate at NPR 158.36 and the selling rate at NPR 159.07, while the Australian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 90.34, with a selling rate of NPR 90.75.
The Canadian Dollar is trading at a buying rate of NPR 98.38 and a selling rate of NPR 98.82, while the Singapore Dollar’s buying and selling rates are NPR 103.37 and NPR 103.84, respectively.
For the Japanese Yen, the rate for 10 units is set at NPR 9.51 for buying and NPR 9.55 for selling. The Chinese Yuan is trading at NPR 18.85 for buying and NPR 18.93 for selling.
Among other currencies, the Saudi Arabian Riyal is being bought at NPR 35.62 and sold at NPR 35.78, while the Qatari Riyal’s buying and selling rates are set at NPR 36.68 and NPR 36.84, respectively. The Thai Baht is trading at a buying rate of NPR 4.01 and a selling rate of NPR 4.03, with the UAE Dirham’s rates set at NPR 36.40 for buying and NPR 36.57 for selling.
The Malaysian Ringgit is being bought at NPR 31.39 and sold at NPR 31.54, while the South Korean Won’s rate for 100 units is NPR 10.15 for buying and NPR 10.19 for selling. The Swedish Kroner’s buying rate is NPR 13.15 and selling rate is NPR 13.21, and the Danish Kroner is trading at NPR 19.95 for buying and NPR 20.04 for selling.
The Hong Kong Dollar is being bought at NPR 17.16 and sold at NPR 17.24, while the Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at NPR 438.57 for buying and NPR 440.53 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar is being bought at NPR 354.79 and sold at NPR 356.38.
NRB has noted that these exchange rates are subject to change and can be updated as needed. The commercial banks may offer different exchange rates, and the latest rates can always be found on NRB’s official website.
