Nepal Rastra Bank has released the official foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar has been set at NPR 139.59, while the selling rate is NPR 140.19. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one euro stand at NPR 144.90 and NPR 145.52, respectively.
The exchange rates for other major currencies have also been determined. The buying rate for one British pound sterling is NPR 173.84, with a selling rate of NPR 174.59. The Swiss franc is being traded at NPR 153.91 for buying and NPR 154.57 for selling. Meanwhile, the Australian dollar’s buying rate is NPR 87.70, with a selling rate of NPR 88.08. The Canadian dollar is set at NPR 97.43 for buying and NPR 97.85 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at NPR 103.33 and NPR 103.77 for buying and selling, respectively.
For Asian currencies, the exchange rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.18 (buying) and NPR 9.22 (selling). The Chinese yuan has been set at NPR 19.15 for buying and NPR 19.23 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at NPR 37.22 for buying and NPR 37.38 for selling, while the Qatari riyal’s rates are NPR 38.29 (buying) and NPR 38.45 (selling).
Additionally, the Thai baht’s exchange rate is NPR 4.15 for buying and NPR 4.17 for selling. The UAE dirham is priced at NPR 38.01 for buying and NPR 38.17 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at NPR 31.44 for buying and NPR 31.57 for selling, while the South Korean won (per 100 units) is being exchanged at NPR 9.66 for buying and NPR 9.70 for selling. The Swedish krona is set at NPR 12.83 (buying) and NPR 12.88 (selling), and the Danish krone at NPR 19.42 (buying) and NPR 19.51 (selling).
The Hong Kong dollar’s exchange rate has been fixed at NPR 17.92 for buying and NPR 18.00 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at NPR 452.27 for buying and NPR 454.22 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar is priced at NPR 370.27 (buying) and NPR 371.86 (selling). The Omani riyal has been set at NPR 362.56 for buying and NPR 364.12 for selling.
For the Indian currency, the exchange rate for INR 100 is set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time based on market fluctuations. Additionally, commercial banks may set their own exchange rates, which could differ slightly from the central bank’s rates.
