Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Friday, with the value of the US dollar increasing compared to the previous day. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is now NPR 139.83, while the selling rate stands at NPR 140.43.
Similarly, the exchange rate for one Euro has been fixed at NPR 144.96 for buying and NPR 145.58 for selling. The British Pound Sterling is being traded at NPR 173.78 for buying and NPR 174.53 for selling, whereas the Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 154.49 for buying and NPR 155.15 for selling.
In the case of other major currencies, the Australian Dollar is set at NPR 87.64 (buying) and NPR 88.01 (selling), while the Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 97.44 (buying) and NPR 97.86 (selling). The exchange rate for one Singapore Dollar has been determined at NPR 103.36 for buying and NPR 103.80 for selling.
Regarding Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen (per 10 units) is valued at NPR 9.17 for buying and NPR 9.21 for selling. The Chinese Yuan stands at NPR 19.18 (buying) and NPR 19.26 (selling), while the Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 37.28 for buying and NPR 37.44 for selling. Likewise, the Qatari Riyal is exchanged at NPR 38.35 for buying and NPR 38.23 for selling.
The exchange rates for other currencies include the Thai Baht at NPR 4.14 (buying) and NPR 4.16 (selling), the UAE Dirham at NPR 38.07 (buying) and NPR 38.23 (selling), and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 31.53 (buying) and NPR 31.66 (selling). Additionally, 100 South Korean Won is priced at NPR 9.65 (buying) and NPR 9.69 (selling), the Swedish Krona at NPR 12.81 (buying) and NPR 12.86 (selling), and the Danish Krona at NPR 19.43 (buying) and NPR 19.52 (selling).
The exchange rate for one Hong Kong Dollar has been set at NPR 17.96 (buying) and NPR 18.04 (selling), while the Kuwaiti Dinar stands at NPR 453.12 (buying) and NPR 455.06 (selling). Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar is valued at NPR 370.90 for buying and NPR 372.49 for selling, and the Omani Riyal is fixed at NPR 363.18 (buying) and NPR 364.74 (selling).
Furthermore, the Indian Rupee (per 100 units) is traded at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised as needed at any time. It has also noted that commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and the latest updates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
