The Nepal Rastra Bank has published the latest foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the values of several major currencies have increased compared to Tuesday’s rates.
The updated exchange rates reflect a rise in the value of the US Dollar, British Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, and Singapore Dollar. Similarly, the Japanese Yen, Saudi Riyal, Qatari Riyal, Malaysian Ringgit, UAE Dirham, Hong Kong Dollar, Kuwaiti Dinar, and Bahraini Dinar have also seen an increase. However, the value of the Euro has decreased.
For today, the exchange rate for the US Dollar has been set at NPR 134.07 for buying and NPR 134.67 for selling, compared to NPR 134.04 and NPR 134.64, respectively, on Tuesday. The Euro’s buying rate is now NPR 147.95 and the selling rate NPR 148.62, down from NPR 147.96 and NPR 148.62 on Tuesday.
The British Pound Sterling has been set at NPR 175.58 for buying and NPR 176.37 for selling, an increase from NPR 175.36 and NPR 176.14. The Swiss Franc’s rates are NPR 158.17 for buying and NPR 158.87 for selling, while the Australian Dollar is set at NPR 89.41 for buying and NPR 89.81 for selling.
The Canadian Dollar has been set at NPR 98.81 for buying and NPR 99.25 for selling, and the Singapore Dollar at NPR 102.75 for buying and NPR 103.21 for selling.
For today, the Japanese Yen is valued at NPR 9.36 for buying and NPR 9.41 for selling per 10 yen. The Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 18.83 for buying and NPR 18.92 for selling.
The Saudi Riyal is valued at NPR 35.73 for buying and NPR 35.89 for selling, and the Qatari Riyal at NPR 36.78 for buying and NPR 36.95 for selling. The Thai Baht is set at NPR 3.97 for buying and NPR 3.99 for selling.
The UAE Dirham is at NPR 36.50 for buying and NPR 36.67 for selling, the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.87 for buying and NPR 31.01 for selling, and the South Korean Won at NPR 9.99 for buying and NPR 10.04 for selling per 100 won.
Additional rates include the Swedish Krona at NPR 12.94 for buying and NPR 13.00 for selling, the Danish Krone at NPR 19.83 for buying and NPR 19.92 for selling, the Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 17.20 for buying and NPR 17.27 for selling, the Kuwaiti Dinar at NPR 438.87 for buying and NPR 440.83 for selling, and the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 355.72 for buying and NPR 357.31 for selling.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these exchange rates are subject to change as needed and that commercial banks may offer different rates. Updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
