The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today, with the buying rate for one US dollar fixed at NPR 134.20 and the selling rate at NPR 134.80. The European Euro is priced at a buying rate of NPR 146.79 and a selling rate of NPR 147.44, while the UK Pound Sterling is set at NPR 175.37 for buying and NPR 177.15 for selling.
Other currencies include the Swiss Franc at NPR 156.56 (buying) and NPR 157.26 (selling), and the Australian Dollar at NPR 90.59 (buying) and NPR 91.00 (selling). The Canadian Dollar is listed at NPR 97.51 (buying) and NPR 79.95 (selling), while the Singapore Dollar is set at NPR 102.85 (buying) and NPR 103.31 (selling).
Additional rates include the Japanese Yen at NPR 9.00 for buying (10 Yen) and NPR 9.04 for selling, as well as the Chinese Yuan at NPR 18.99 (buying) and NPR 19.08 (selling). The exchange rates for other currencies such as the Saudi Arabian Riyal, Qatari Rial, Thai Baht, UAE Dirham, Malaysian Ringgit, South Korean Won, Swedish Krona, and various other currencies have also been detailed.
The Indian Rupee is priced at NPR 160.00 (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling). The central bank indicated that these rates are subject to change as needed, and commercial banks may set different rates, which will be updated on the central bank’s website.
