Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. The exchange rate for the US dollar remains stable, while the values of the Euro and Japanese Yen have increased. Conversely, the Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, South Korean Won, Swedish Kroner, Danish Kroner, Kuwaiti Dinar, Bahraini Dinar, and Hong Kong Dollar have seen declines.
The buying rate for 1 US dollar is set at NPR 137.25, while the selling rate is NPR 137.85. The Euro stands at a buying rate of NPR 141.62 and a selling rate of NPR 141.23. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for the Pound Sterling are NPR 167.56 and NPR 168.29, respectively.
The Swiss Franc is set at NPR 149.76 (buying) and NPR 150.42 (selling). The Australian Dollar is at NPR 84.38 (buying) and NPR 84.75 (selling), while the Canadian Dollar is at NPR 95.16 (buying) and NPR 95.58 (selling).
The Japanese Yen is valued at NPR 8.70 (buying) and NPR 8.74 (selling) for 10 Yen. The Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 18.72 (buying) and NPR 18.80 (selling), and the Saudi Arabian Riyal is at NPR 36.56 (buying) and NPR 36.72 (selling). The Qatari Riyal is trading at NPR 37.65 (buying) and NPR 37.81 (selling).
For the Thai Baht, the buying rate is NPR 3.96, and the selling rate is NPR 3.98. Similarly, the UAE Dirham is at NPR 37.37 (buying) and NPR 37.53 (selling), while the Malaysian Ringgit is valued at NPR 30.52 (buying) and NPR 30.66 (selling).
The South Korean Won is trading at NPR 9.30 (buying) and NPR 9.35 (selling) for 100 Won, the Swedish Kroner is at NPR 12.23 (buying) and NPR 12.28 (selling), and the Danish Kroner is set at NPR 18.85 (buying) and NPR 18.93 (selling).
The Hong Kong Dollar is trading at NPR 17.62 (buying) and NPR 17.70 (selling). Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti Dinar is valued at NPR 444.61 (buying) and NPR 446.55 (selling), the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 364.06 (buying) and NPR 365.65 (selling), and the Omani Riyal at NPR 356.52 (buying) and NPR 358.08 (selling).
The Indian Rupee is trading at a fixed rate of NPR 160 for 100 INR (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling).
Nepal Rastra Bank has indicated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed. It also noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary and advised customers to check the latest updates on the central bank’s official website.
