Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at NPR 134.24, while the selling rate is NPR 134.84.
For the Euro, the buying rate is set at NPR 144.68, and the selling rate is NPR 145.33. Similarly, one British Pound Sterling is being traded with a buying rate of NPR 174.10 and a selling rate of NPR 174.88. The buying rate for the Swiss Franc is NPR 154.82, and the selling rate is NPR 155.52.
Among other currencies, the Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 89.20 and a selling rate of NPR 89.59. The Canadian Dollar stands at a buying rate of NPR 97.05 and a selling rate of NPR 97.48. The Singapore Dollar has been pegged with a buying rate of NPR 101.61 and a selling rate of NPR 102.07.
The Japanese Yen, in denominations of 10, is being traded with a buying rate of NPR 8.78 and a selling rate of NPR 8.82. The Chinese Yuan stands at a buying rate of NPR 18.83 and a selling rate of NPR 18.91. Additionally, one Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 35.75 and a selling rate of NPR 35.91, while the Qatari Riyal is traded with a buying rate of NPR 36.82 and a selling rate of NPR 36.98.
The Thai Baht has been assigned a buying rate of NPR 3.98 and a selling rate of NPR 4.00, while the UAE Dirham is being traded with a buying rate of NPR 36.55 and a selling rate of NPR 36.71. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 30.86 and a selling rate of NPR 31.00.
For South Korean Won (100 units), the buying rate is NPR 9.70, and the selling rate is NPR 9.75. The Swedish Kroner is traded with a buying rate of NPR 12.67 and a selling rate of NPR 12.73, while the Danish Kroner has a buying rate of NPR 19.40 and a selling rate of NPR 19.49.
The Hong Kong Dollar has been set with a buying rate of NPR 17.28 and a selling rate of NPR 17.35. One Kuwaiti Dinar stands at a buying rate of NPR 437.81 and a selling rate of NPR 439.76. Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar is being traded with a buying rate of NPR 356.05 and a selling rate of NPR 357.64.
Finally, the Indian Rupee, in units of 100, is pegged with a buying rate of NPR 160.00 and a selling rate of NPR 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time based on market conditions. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the most updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
