Nepal Rastra Bank has set today’s exchange rates for foreign currencies. As per the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is fixed at NPR 134.29, with a selling rate of NPR 134.89.
The exchange rates for other major currencies have also been updated. The buying rate for one Euro stands at NPR 146.40 and the selling rate at NPR 146.05. For the British Pound Sterling, the buying rate is NPR 174.07, and the selling rate is NPR 174.85. The Swiss Franc buying rate is set at NPR 155.55, with a selling rate of NPR 156.24.
Rates for other international currencies are as follows: the Australian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 88.57 and selling at NPR 88.97, while the Canadian Dollar is set at NPR 96.52 for buying and NPR 96.96 for selling. For the Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 102.00, and the selling rate is NPR 102.46.
Among Asian currencies, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 8.85, with a selling rate of NPR 8.89. The Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 18.93 for buying and NPR 19.02 for selling. The Saudi Riyal’s buying rate is NPR 35.75 and selling at NPR 35.91, while the Qatari Riyal is fixed at NPR 36.85 for buying and NPR 37.01 for selling.
Other rates set by the central bank include the Thai Baht at NPR 3.98 for buying and NPR 4.00 for selling, the UAE Dirham at NPR 36.56 and NPR 36.72 respectively, and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.71 for buying and NPR 30.85 for selling. South Korean Won is valued at NPR 9.78 per 100 units for buying and NPR 9.82 for selling. Meanwhile, the Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 12.58 and a selling rate of NPR 12.64, while the Danish Krone is at NPR 19.63 for buying and NPR 19.72 for selling.
The Hong Kong Dollar stands at NPR 17.28 for buying and NPR 17.35 for selling, the Kuwaiti Dinar at NPR 438.40 for buying and NPR 440.36 for selling, and the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 356.20 for buying and NPR 357.79 for selling. For the Indian Rupee, 100 units are valued at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision as needed, and that rates set by commercial banks may vary. The latest updates on foreign exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
