Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today, determining the buying and selling rates for various international currencies. According to the central bank, the exchange rate for one US dollar has been set at NPR 138.84 for buying and NPR 139.44 for selling.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 148.29, while the selling rate stands at NPR 148.92. The exchange rate for one British Pound Sterling has been set at NPR 178.11 for buying and NPR 178.88 for selling. Additionally, the Swiss Franc is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 156.17 and a selling rate of NPR 156.84.
Among other currencies, the exchange rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 87.18 for buying and NPR 87.56 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar is being traded at NPR 96.54 for buying and NPR 96.96 for selling. Likewise, the Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 103.80 and a selling rate of NPR 104.25.
In the Asian currency market, the exchange rate for 10 Japanese Yen is set at NPR 9.29 for buying and NPR 9.33 for selling. The Chinese Yuan is being exchanged at NPR 19.12 for buying and NPR 19.20 for selling. Meanwhile, one Saudi Arabian Riyal is priced at NPR 37.02 for buying and NPR 37.18 for selling. Similarly, one Qatari Riyal has been set at NPR 38.09 for buying and NPR 38.26 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the exchange rates for other currencies. The Thai Baht is being traded at NPR 4.12 for buying and NPR 4.14 for selling. The exchange rate for one UAE Dirham is NPR 37.80 for buying and NPR 37.97 for selling. Additionally, the Malaysian Ringgit is being exchanged at NPR 31.34 for buying and NPR 31.48 for selling. The South Korean Won is priced at NPR 9.57 per 100 units for buying and NPR 9.61 for selling. The Swedish Krona is being traded at NPR 13.45 for buying and NPR 13.51 for selling, while the Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 19.88 and a selling rate of NPR 19.97.
Furthermore, the exchange rate for one Hong Kong Dollar has been set at NPR 17.86 for buying and NPR 17.94 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar, one of the highest-valued currencies, is being exchanged at NPR 449.96 for buying and NPR 451.91 for selling. Meanwhile, the Bahraini Dinar is priced at NPR 368.30 for buying and NPR 369.89 for selling, and the Omani Riyal has an exchange rate of NPR 360.64 for buying and NPR 362.20 for selling.
Regarding the Indian Rupee, Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rate at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 Indian Rupees.
The central bank has clarified that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as per necessity. Additionally, commercial banks may set different exchange rates based on market conditions.
