Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for Friday. According to the rates set by the central bank, the value of major currencies such as the US Dollar, European Euro, UK Pound Sterling, Canadian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Japanese Yen, Saudi Arabian Riyal, and Qatari Riyal has increased. The buying rate for one US Dollar is set at NPR 135.48, and the selling rate is NPR 136.08.
Similarly, the European Euro’s buying and selling rates are NPR 142.29 and NPR 142.92, respectively, while the UK Pound Sterling is valued at NPR 172.67 for buying and NPR 173.43 for selling. The Swiss Franc’s buying rate is NPR 152.89, and the selling rate is NPR 153.56.
The Australian Dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 86.80 and a selling rate of NPR 87.19. The Canadian Dollar’s rates are NPR 95.77 for buying and NPR 96.20 for selling, while the Singapore Dollar is valued at NPR 100.80 for buying and NPR 101.25 for selling.
Additionally, 10 Japanese Yen is priced at NPR 8.90 for buying and NPR 8.94 for selling, and the Chinese Yuan is valued at NPR 18.64 for buying and NPR 18.72 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal’s buying rate is NPR 36.06, and the selling rate is NPR 36.22, while the Qatari Riyal is priced at NPR 37.16 for buying and NPR 37.33 for selling.
Other currencies have also been valued accordingly, such as the Thai Baht at NPR 4.00 for buying and NPR 4.02 for selling, the UAE Dirham at NPR 36.89 for buying and NPR 37.05 for selling, and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.53 for buying and NPR 30.67 for selling. The South Korean Won (100 units) is priced at NPR 9.47 for buying and NPR 9.51 for selling. Similarly, the Swedish Krona’s buying rate is NPR 12.36, and the selling rate is NPR 12.42, while the Danish Krona is valued at NPR 19.08 for buying and NPR 19.16 for selling.
The Hong Kong Dollar’s buying and selling rates are NPR 17.42 and NPR 17.50, respectively. The Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at NPR 440.53 for buying and NPR 442.48 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar is valued at NPR 359.17 for buying and NPR 360.76 for selling. The Omani Riyal’s rates are NPR 351.90 for buying and NPR 353.45 for selling. Lastly, the Indian Rupee’s rate for NPR 100 is set at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as needed. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
