Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign exchange rates for Sunday, with the buying rate for the U.S. dollar set at NPR 134.24 and the selling rate at NPR 134.84. Similarly, the buying rate for the European euro is NPR 144.28, while the selling rate stands at NPR 145.93. For the British pound sterling, the buying rate is NPR 174.24, and the selling rate is NPR 175.02, while the Swiss franc is set at NPR 154.77 for buying and NPR 155.46 for selling.
The Australian dollar’s buying rate is NPR 88.99, and the selling rate is NPR 89.39. The Canadian dollar is at NPR 96.92 for buying and NPR 97.35 for selling. The Singapore dollar’s buying rate is NPR 101.65, with a selling rate of NPR 102.11.
For other currencies, the Japanese yen’s rate per 10 units is NPR 8.84 for buying and NPR 8.88 for selling. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of NPR 18.84 and a selling rate of NPR 18.93, while the Saudi riyal is set at NPR 35.74 for buying and NPR 35.90 for selling. The Qatari riyal’s buying rate is NPR 36.82, with a selling rate of NPR 36.98.
Other notable rates include the Thai baht at NPR 3.98 for buying and NPR 3.99 for selling, and the UAE dirham at NPR 36.55 for buying and NPR 36.71 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 30.93 and a selling rate of NPR 31.07. The South Korean won, per 100 units, is NPR 9.66 for buying and NPR 9.70 for selling. The Swedish krona’s buying rate is NPR 13.04, with a selling rate at NPR 12.69, and the Danish krone is NPR 19.47 for buying and NPR 19.56 for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar’s rate is NPR 17.28 for buying and NPR 17.35 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at NPR 438.25 for buying and NPR 440.21 for selling. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of NPR 355.05 and a selling rate of NPR 357.64. Finally, the Indian rupee is fixed at NPR 160 for buying per 100 units and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank noted that these exchange rates are subject to change and may be revised as necessary. It also reminded that commercial banks may have different rates and advised checking the central bank’s website for the latest updates.
