The Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. As per the fixed rates, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 135.73, while the selling rate is NPR 136.33. Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 141.00, and the selling rate is NPR 141.62. The UK Pound Sterling stands at a buying rate of NPR 169.72 and a selling rate of NPR 170.47, while the Swiss Franc is set at NPR 151.70 for buying and NPR 152.37 for selling.
The Australian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 84.50, and the selling rate is NPR 84.87, whereas the Canadian Dollar is set at NPR 94.32 and NPR 94.74, respectively. For the Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 99.90, and the selling rate is NPR 100.34.
Among Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen (per 10 units) has a buying rate of NPR 8.66 and a selling rate of NPR 8.69. The Chinese Yuan stands at NPR 18.60 for buying and NPR 18.68 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 36.12 and a selling rate of NPR 36.28, while the Qatari Riyal is priced at NPR 37.23 for buying and NPR 37.40 for selling.
The Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 3.94 and a selling rate of NPR 3.96, while the UAE Dirham is set at NPR 36.95 for buying and NPR 37.12 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit is priced at NPR 30.11 and NPR 30.24 for buying and selling, respectively. South Korean Won (per 100 units) is set at NPR 9.37 for buying and NPR 9.41 for selling. The Swedish Krona and Danish Kroner have buying rates of NPR 12.29 and NPR 18.90, with selling rates of NPR 12.35 and NPR 18.99, respectively.
For other currencies, the Hong Kong Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 17.46 and a selling rate of NPR 17.54. The Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at NPR 440.42 for buying and NPR 442.36 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 359.74 and NPR 361.33, respectively. The Omani Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 352.53 and a selling rate of NPR 354.09.
Meanwhile, the exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as needed. Commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
