Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign exchange rates for Thursday, indicating an increase in the value of several major foreign currencies, including the US Dollar, Euro, and British Pound Sterling, compared to the previous day.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US Dollar has been set at NPR 139.65, while the selling rate is NPR 140.25. Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 145.49, and the selling rate is NPR 146.11. The British Pound Sterling stands at NPR 175.11 for buying and NPR 175.87 for selling.
Other currencies have also seen adjustments. The Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 154.81 (buying) and NPR 155.47 (selling), while the Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 87.76 and a selling rate of NPR 88.14. Likewise, the Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 97.72 for buying and NPR 98.14 for selling, and the Singapore Dollar is NPR 103.52 for buying and NPR 103.97 for selling.
Among Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen (per 10 units) is valued at NPR 9.14 (buying) and NPR 9.18 (selling). The Chinese Yuan has been set at NPR 19.20 for buying and NPR 19.28 for selling, while the Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 37.23 for buying and NPR 37.39 for selling. The Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 38.30 for buying and NPR 38.47 for selling.
Additionally, the exchange rate for the Thai Baht is NPR 4.16 (buying) and NPR 4.18 (selling), while the UAE Dirham is set at NPR 38.02 (buying) and NPR 38.18 (selling). The Malaysian Ringgit is NPR 31.58 for buying and NPR 31.71 for selling. Meanwhile, the South Korean Won (per 100 units) is valued at NPR 9.67 for buying and NPR 9.71 for selling. The Swedish Krona is NPR 12.81 (buying) and NPR 12.87 (selling), whereas the Danish Krone is NPR 19.50 (buying) and NPR 19.59 (selling).
Among other currencies, the Hong Kong Dollar is valued at NPR 17.93 for buying and NPR 18.01 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar stands at NPR 452.66 for buying and NPR 454.60 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar is NPR 370.41 (buying) and NPR 372.01 (selling). The Omani Riyal is set at NPR 362.69 for buying and NPR 364.25 for selling.
The Indian Rupee exchange rate remains at NPR 160 per 100 units for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change as needed, and commercial banks may offer slightly different exchange rates.
