Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the exchange rate for the U.S. dollar remains unchanged from the previous two days, with a buying rate of NPR 134.23 and a selling rate of NPR 134.83 per dollar.
The Euro has seen a slight increase, with today’s buying rate set at NPR 145.39 and the selling rate at NPR 146.03, compared to Wednesday’s rate of NPR 144.93 and NPR 145.58, respectively. The buying rate for one British Pound is NPR 174.12, and the selling rate is NPR 174.89. The Swiss Franc’s buying and selling rates are NPR 154.78 and NPR 155.47, respectively.
The Australian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 88.30 and a selling rate of NPR 88.70, while the Canadian dollar’s buying and selling rates are NPR 96.40 and NPR 96.83. For the Singapore dollar, the buying rate is NPR 101.45, and the selling rate is NPR 101.90.
As for the Japanese Yen, the buying rate for 10 Yen is NPR 8.78, with a selling rate of NPR 8.82. The Chinese Yuan’s buying and selling rates are NPR 18.85 and NPR 18.93. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for the Saudi Arabian Riyal are NPR 35.74 and NPR 35.90, while the Qatari Riyal is set at NPR 36.82 for buying and NPR 36.98 for selling.
The central bank has set the exchange rates for the Thai Baht at NPR 3.98 for buying and NPR 4.00 for selling, and the UAE Dirham at NPR 36.55 for buying and NPR 36.71 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit is valued at NPR 30.65 for buying and NPR 30.70 for selling. Additionally, the buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9.97, and the selling rate is NPR 9.79. The buying rate for the Swedish Krona is NPR 12.59, with a selling rate of NPR 12.64, while the Danish Krone is set at NPR 19.49 for buying and NPR 19.57 for selling.
Other rates include the Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 17.27 for buying and NPR 17.35 for selling, the Kuwaiti Dinar at NPR 437.83 for buying and NPR 439.79 for selling, and the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 356 for buying and NPR 357.59 for selling. The Indian Rupee is set at a buying rate of NPR 160 for 100 units and a selling rate of NPR 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank noted that these rates are subject to modification at any time as needed. Commercial banks may set different rates, and the most up-to-date rates are available on the central bank’s website.
