Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today, maintaining stability in the US dollar rate. As per NRB, the buying rate for the US dollar is set at NPR 134.23, while the selling rate stands at NPR 134.83, the same as Friday’s rate.
For the Euro, the buying rate is NPR 145.77, and the selling rate is NPR 146.42. The British Pound’s buying and selling rates are set at NPR 173.30 and NPR 174.07, respectively. The Swiss Franc’s buying rate is NPR 154.63, with a selling rate of NPR 155.33.
The Australian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 88.08, and the selling rate is NPR 88.77. The Canadian Dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 96.34 and a selling rate of NPR 96.77. Similarly, the Singapore Dollar is listed with a buying rate of NPR 101.34 and a selling rate of NPR 101.79.
In Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen is traded at NPR 8.79 for 10 units in buying and NPR 8.83 in selling. The Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 18.85 for buying and NPR 18.93 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal’s buying rate is NPR 35.74, with a selling rate of NPR 35.90, while the Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 36.82 for buying and NPR 36.99 for selling.
Other rates include the Thai Baht at NPR 3.96 for buying and NPR 3.98 for selling, the UAE Dirham at NPR 36.55 and NPR 36.71, the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.66 and NPR 30.79, and the South Korean Won at NPR 9.74 for 100 units in buying and NPR 9.78 in selling. The Swedish Krona is set at NPR 12.53 for buying and NPR 12.59 for selling, while the Danish Krone stands at NPR 19.55 for buying and NPR 19.64 for selling.
The Hong Kong Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 17.26, and the selling rate is NPR 17.34. The Kuwaiti Dinar is listed with a buying rate of NPR 437.64 and a selling rate of NPR 439.60. Meanwhile, the Bahraini Dinar’s buying rate is NPR 356.02, with a selling rate of NPR 357.62. The Indian Rupee, for every 100 units, is traded at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
NRB has clarified that it may adjust the exchange rates at any time as necessary, and commercial banks may have slightly different rates. The latest rates are available on the central bank’s website for reference.
