Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank (Nepal Rastra Bank), the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 137.26, while the selling rate stands at NPR 137.86.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one Euro are NPR 148.80 and NPR 149.45, respectively. The exchange rate for one UK Pound Sterling is NPR 177.67 for buying and NPR 178.45 for selling, whereas the Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 155.78 for buying and NPR 156.46 for selling.
For other major currencies, the Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 86.36 and a selling rate of NPR 86.73. The Canadian Dollar is exchanged at NPR 95.73 for buying and NPR 96.15 for selling. Likewise, the Singapore Dollar’s rates are NPR 102.88 for buying and NPR 103.33 for selling.
The Japanese Yen (per 10 units) is traded at NPR 9.21 for buying and NPR 9.25 for selling. Meanwhile, the Chinese Yuan is valued at NPR 18.94 for buying and NPR 19.02 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at NPR 36.59 for buying and NPR 36.75 for selling, whereas the Qatari Riyal is NPR 37.65 for buying and NPR 37.82 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht is valued at NPR 4.05 for buying and NPR 4.07 for selling. The exchange rates for the UAE Dirham and Malaysian Ringgit are NPR 37.37 and NPR 31.05 for buying and NPR 37.53 and NPR 31.18 for selling, respectively.
For other currencies, 100 South Korean Won is exchanged at NPR 9.38 for buying and NPR 9.42 for selling. The Swedish Krona is NPR 13.60 for buying and NPR 13.66 for selling, while the Danish Krone is NPR 19.95 for buying and NPR 20.03 for selling.
Moreover, the Hong Kong Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 17.66 and a selling rate of NPR 17.73. The Kuwaiti Dinar stands at NPR 445.45 for buying and NPR 447.39 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar is exchanged at NPR 364.12 for buying and NPR 365.71 for selling, while the Omani Riyal stands at NPR 356.59 for buying and NPR 358.15 for selling.
The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as per market requirements. The rates determined by commercial banks may vary based on open market conditions, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
