Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the exchange rates for foreign currencies effective today. The exchange rates for several major currencies, including the US Dollar, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Chinese Yuan, Saudi Riyal, Qatari Riyal, UAE Dirham, South Korean Won, Swedish Krona, Kuwaiti Dinar, and Bahraini Dinar, have seen an increase. On the other hand, the rates for the European Euro, Canadian Dollar, Japanese Yen, Malaysian Ringgit, Danish Krone, and Omani Rial have decreased.
According to the central bank’s new rates, the buying rate for the US Dollar is set at NPR 136.91, and the selling rate is NPR 137.51. The buying rate for the European Euro is NPR 141.32, and the selling rate is NPR 141.94. The buying rate for the UK Pound Sterling is NPR 170.31, and the selling rate is NPR 171.06. The buying rate for the Swiss Franc is NPR 150.87, and the selling rate is NPR 151.53.
For the Australian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 85.06, and the selling rate is NPR 85.43. The Canadian Dollar is priced at NPR 94.92 for buying and NPR 95.33 for selling. The Singapore Dollar is priced at NPR 100.30 for buying and NPR 100.74 for selling.
The buying rate for the Japanese Yen is NPR 8.71 for 10 Yen, and the selling rate is NPR 8.74. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 18.76 and a selling rate of NPR 18.84. The Saudi Riyal is set at NPR 36.46 for buying and NPR 36.62 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 37.56 for buying and NPR 37.72 for selling.
The Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 3.99 and a selling rate of NPR 4.01. The UAE Dirham is priced at NPR 37.27 for buying and NPR 37.44 for selling, while the Malaysian Ringgit stands at NPR 30.57 for buying and NPR 30.70 for selling.
The South Korean Won is priced at NPR 9.33 for buying and NPR 9.37 for selling, while the Swedish Krona is set at NPR 12.36 for buying and NPR 12.41 for selling. The Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 18.95 and a selling rate of NPR 19.03.
In addition, the Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 17.60 for buying and NPR 17.68 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at NPR 443.79 for buying and NPR 445.73 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 363.15 for buying and NPR 364.74 for selling. The Omani Rial is priced at NPR 355.61 for buying and NPR 357.16 for selling.
Finally, the Indian Rupee is set at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
The central bank has also noted that these exchange rates may be subject to revisions at any time. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated rates will be available on the central bank’s official website.
