The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has established today’s exchange rates for foreign currencies. According to the NRB, the buying rate for one U.S. Dollar stands at NPR 134.24, while the selling rate is NPR 134.84.
In the European market, one Euro is set at a buying rate of NPR 145.28 and a selling rate of NPR 145.93. Similarly, the buying rate for one British Pound Sterling is NPR 174.24, and the selling rate is NPR 175.02. For the Swiss Franc, the buying rate is NPR 154.77, with a selling rate of NPR 155.46.
The exchange rates for other major currencies include the Australian Dollar at a buying rate of NPR 88.99 and selling at NPR 89.39, and the Canadian Dollar, with a buying rate of NPR 96.92 and a selling rate of NPR 97.35. For the Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 101.65, while the selling rate is NPR 102.11.
In terms of Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen is set at a buying rate of NPR 8.84 per 10 Yen, with a selling rate of NPR 8.88. The Chinese Yuan stands at a buying rate of NPR 18.84 and a selling rate of NPR 18.93. In addition, one Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 35.74 and a selling rate of NPR 35.90, while one Qatari Riyal is at NPR 36.82 for buying and NPR 36.98 for selling.
Other currency rates include the Thai Baht at a buying rate of NPR 3.98 and a selling rate of NPR 3.99. The UAE Dirham is available at NPR 36.55 for buying and NPR 36.71 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 30.93 and a selling rate of NPR 31.07, while the South Korean Won is NPR 9.66 per 100 Won in buying and NPR 9.70 in selling. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 12.69 and a selling rate of NPR 12.75, and the Danish Krone is set at NPR 19.47 for buying and NPR 19.56 for selling.
Additionally, the Hong Kong Dollar is at NPR 17.28 for buying and NPR 17.35 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a high buying rate of NPR 438.25 and a selling rate of NPR 440.21. Meanwhile, one Bahraini Dinar is at NPR 356.05 for buying and NPR 357.64 for selling. The Indian Rupee is also available at a stable rate of NPR 160 per 100 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
The central bank also clarified that these rates are subject to adjustment at any time. Commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and up-to-date exchange rates are available on the NRB’s official website.
