Months of Preparation Led to Everest Triumph

Born in March 2010 in Chennai, Nisha completed months of intensive preparation, training, and acclimatisation in Nepal’s Khumbu region before launching her summit push. Ahead of her ascent, the young climber reflected on the challenges and lessons of mountaineering.

“From the Khumbu Icefall to long nights at high altitude, every step has been a reminder of how much mountains demand, and how much they teach. This journey has never just been about records. It’s about discipline, resilience and seeing how far belief, hard work and persistence can take you.”

Her successful Everest climb marks a major milestone in what is shaping into an extraordinary mountaineering career at a remarkably young age.

Everest Climb Part of Ambitious Seven Summits Goal

Nisha’s Everest expedition is part of an ambitious single-season challenge that also includes an attempt on Denali, one of the famed Seven Summits. She aims to complete two of the world’s highest continental peaks within just a few months.

The teenager is already familiar with record-breaking achievements. In October 2025, she successfully climbed Carstensz Pyramid, the highest mountain in Oceania and Indonesia, at the age of 15 years, 7 months, and 8 days, becoming the youngest female climber to do so. The achievement was later confirmed by the India Book of Records in December 2025.

That expedition was also organised by Elite Exped, further strengthening the company’s reputation for supporting young climbers in achieving historic milestones.
