The collaboration reflects NMB Bank’s commitment to encouraging digital banking practices over traditional cash transactions. The bank believes such customer-focused initiatives will help foster a broader shift toward digital payments, aligning with the institution’s sustainability and innovation goals. Detailed information regarding the discount and eligible transactions can be accessed via the bank’s official website at nmb.com.np.

Currently, NMB Bank operates with a strong nationwide presence, comprising 202 branches, 187 ATMs, and 9 extended counters. Since its establishment in 2008 following the merger of four financial institutions, NMB Bank has grown into one of Nepal’s leading commercial banks. Headquartered in Babarmahal, Kathmandu, the bank is recognized for its dedication to responsible banking, inclusive financial growth, and support for community development.

Notably, in 2016, NMB Bank partnered with FMO, the Dutch development bank, which now holds the largest equity stake in the institution. This partnership further enhanced the bank’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. NMB has earned accolades such as “Bank of the Year – Nepal” four times and was also honored with “Bank of the Year – Asia” in 2021. The bank offers a full suite of services, including loans, deposits, trade finance, cards, and a robust digital banking platform. It is particularly known for its financing in the renewable energy and agriculture sectors and support for SMEs.
