The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and PATA Nepal Chapter (PNC) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly organize the 5th edition of the Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM 2025), set to take place from June 3 to 5, 2025, at The Soaltee, Kathmandu.
NTB MoU With PATA
The MoU was signed at the NTB office by Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of NTB, and Mr. Narendra Deo Bhatta, General Secretary of PNC. HTM 2025 will mark two key milestones: the 50th anniversary of the PATA Nepal Chapter and the 75th anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Annapurna by legendary French mountaineer Maurice Herzog. To honor this occasion, Herzog’s family will be visiting Nepal.

As Nepal’s premier international travel and tourism trade show, HTM 2025 will showcase the country’s diverse tourism offerings through high-level B2B networking, expert-led conferences, and immersive cultural and travel experiences designed for global buyers, influencers, media, and tourism professionals.

Under the agreement, NTB will serve as the Organizing Partner, supporting branding, promotion, and hospitality for hosted international delegates. The PATA Nepal Chapter will lead the planning and execution of the event. HTM 2025 is expected to significantly enhance Nepal’s visibility as a global tourism destination and strengthen international partnerships in the travel and trade sector.
