NTB Invites Global Travel Industry to Connect with Nepal at ITE Hong Kong 2025

To promote Nepal’s tourism on the international stage, the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has extended a heartfelt invitation to global tourism entrepreneurs and stakeholders to connect with Nepal and explore its unparalleled tourism potential. The appeal was made by Uday Bhattarai, Senior Manager of the NTB, during the prestigious International Travel Expo (ITE) Hong Kong 2025, which commenced on Thursday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

A Call to Discover Nepal’s Diverse Tourism Offerings

Addressing a global audience of travel professionals and tourism stakeholders, Senior Manager Bhattarai showcased Nepal’s diverse travel destinations and invited the global tourism trade community to experience the country’s unique blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and adventure tourism. During his presentation, Bhattarai emphasized the vast possibilities Nepal offers for tourism, from the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas to ancient cultural treasures and thrilling outdoor adventures.

The Nepal Tourism Board has taken a proactive role in presenting Nepal’s tourism assets through compelling visual and experiential elements at the exhibition. By establishing a dedicated Nepal Pavilion, the Board aims to strengthen Nepal’s brand in the Hong Kong and wider Asian tourism markets.

Nepal Pavilion: A Showcase of Culture, Nature, and Adventure

The Nepal Pavilion at ITE Hong Kong 2025 is a vibrant display of the country’s ancient heritage, majestic Himalayan peaks, rare wildlife, rich cultural traditions, and a variety of adventure tourism opportunities. Carefully curated to attract travel trade representatives, media, and potential tourists, the pavilion offers a glimpse into the soul of Nepal—one that blends spirituality, wilderness, and hospitality.

The pavilion features dynamic visuals and promotional materials that highlight Nepal’s key tourism attractions. From trekking and mountaineering to spiritual journeys and cultural immersions, the presentation aims to appeal to both leisure travelers and specialized market segments such as adventure seekers and cultural enthusiasts.

Strong Diplomatic and Industry Participation

The Nepal Pavilion also received a visit from Dr. Bindeshwar Prasad Lekhak, Nepal’s Consul General to Hong Kong. Dr. Lekhak praised the collaborative efforts of the NTB and the participating Nepali tourism companies. He encouraged all stakeholders to maximize the promotional opportunities provided by ITE Hong Kong 2025 and to build long-term partnerships with international tourism operators.

The Nepal Tourism Board is joined by several private sector travel and tour companies at the event. Participants include Himalayan Club Tours and Travel, Pearl Holidays Pvt. Ltd., Alpine Club of Himalaya, Connect MICE Pvt. Ltd., North Nepal Travel and Trek Pvt. Ltd., Satori Adventures Pvt. Ltd., Jugal Holidays Pvt. Ltd., and Canton International Travel Service Nepal Pvt. Ltd. These companies are actively engaging with international buyers and visitors, showcasing tailored packages and travel solutions to meet the diverse interests of foreign travelers.

Promoting Nepal as a Global Tourism Destination

The Nepal Tourism Board has continually participated in international tourism exhibitions, recognizing the importance of direct engagement in foreign markets. By taking Nepal’s tourism message abroad, NTB is not only promoting the country’s cultural and natural wealth but also working to attract valuable foreign exchange earnings that contribute to national development.

In its official statement, the Board reiterated that such international outreach initiatives are central to the government’s strategy for boosting Nepal’s tourism industry, particularly in the post-pandemic era. It believes that increased exposure in key regional markets like Hong Kong will help revive and sustain tourism arrivals and generate economic benefits across the country.

Exhibition Continues Until June 15

ITE Hong Kong 2025 will continue until June 15, providing ample opportunity for Nepali delegates to build new networks, establish business partnerships, and enhance Nepal’s image as a must-visit destination. The Board’s strategic participation in the event reflects its commitment to elevating Nepal’s visibility on the global tourism map and ensuring sustainable growth through international collaboration.

With a compelling blend of natural grandeur and cultural depth, Nepal remains a treasure trove for explorers, pilgrims, and adventurers. Through initiatives like ITE Hong Kong, the Nepal Tourism Board aims to reinforce this image and invite the world to experience the magic of Nepal firsthand.
