Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), along with 15 travel trade companies from Nepal, showcased the country’s diverse tourism offerings at the India International Travel Mart (IITM) Ahmedabad, held from March 7-9, 2025, at the YMCA Convention Center. Nepal’s presence at Stall P5 attracted significant attention from Indian travelers, tour operators, and the media, further establishing Nepal as a top travel destination for adventure, culture, and spiritual tourism.

The Nepal Pavilion, organized by NTB, emphasized the country’s rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and adventure tourism activities, such as trekking, mountaineering, jungle safaris, and pilgrimage tours. Promotional videos highlighting Nepal’s nature, culture, and adventure were screened at the stall to engage visitors. The mart also provided a platform to strengthen tourism ties between Nepal and India, fostering collaborations between travel trade professionals and potential visitors.

The NTB delegation at IITM Ahmedabad 2025 was led by Mr. Khadga Bikram Shah, accompanied by Mr. Jayshakti Sarraf and Mr. Narayan Bahadur Panta. They actively engaged with visitors, distributing tourism promotional materials and providing updates on Nepal’s diverse tourism products and activities. Their participation aimed to strengthen Nepal’s presence in the Indian market, attracting more travelers to explore the country’s rich cultural heritage, adventure tourism, and natural beauty.

NTB’s participation in IITM Ahmedabad 2025 was a key initiative to attract more Indian tourists to Nepal, encouraging them to explore the country’s stunning landscapes, UNESCO heritage sites, and unique adventure experiences.
