The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), along with five bona fide co-exhibitors, successfully participated in the prestigious Outdoor Adventure Show 2026 held in Toronto, Canada. The international exhibition provided an ideal platform for promoting Nepal as a premier destination for adventure, experiential, and cultural tourism to the North American market.
Nepali Companies Highlight Diverse Tourism Products
The Nepal Pavilion hosted five leading Nepali tourism companies: Satori Adventures, Nepal Social Treks & Adventure, Nepal Hiking Team, Nepal Dream Travel Service, and Asian Adventure Treks & Expedition. Together, they showcased a wide range of Nepal’s tourism products, including trekking, mountaineering, cultural and heritage tours, wildlife experiences, and soft adventure packages specifically tailored for Canadian travelers.

Participants emphasized Nepal’s unique blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and adventure offerings, aiming to inspire Canadian tourists to explore Nepal’s diverse landscapes and experiences. The presence of multiple tour operators also allowed Canadian travel professionals to engage directly with service providers, enabling discussions on customized itineraries and collaborative partnerships.
Visually Captivating Nepal Pavilion
The Nepal Pavilion stood out as one of the most visually striking and professionally designed stands at the exhibition. Featuring captivating imagery of the Himalayas, local culture, and adventure activities, the pavilion attracted continuous footfall throughout the show.
Visitors praised the aesthetic presentation and professional branding of the Nepal Pavilion. The exhibition stall effectively communicated the country’s core tourism offerings while creating a welcoming and immersive experience for attendees, thereby strengthening Nepal’s brand visibility in the competitive Canadian market.
High-Level Support from Diplomatic Mission
On the first day of the Outdoor Adventure Show, H.E. Ambassador of Nepal to Canada, Mr. Bharat Poudel, visited the Nepal Pavilion. He interacted with participating companies and extended encouragement and support to the Nepali delegation, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in strengthening bilateral tourism relations.

Before the exhibition, on February 19, 2026, NTB in collaboration with the Embassy of Nepal, Ottawa, organized a special “Nepal Evening” program at The Westin Toronto Airport Hotel. The event featured a focused B2B session between Nepali and Canadian tour operators, creating valuable networking opportunities and fostering potential business partnerships.

During the Nepal Evening program, Ambassador Poudel delivered the keynote address, emphasizing Nepal’s diverse tourism products, safety measures, and global appeal as a top adventure destination. Mr. Surya Thapaliya, Senior Manager of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), provided a detailed presentation on Nepal’s tourism infrastructure developments, improved air connectivity, emerging experiential offerings, and strategic initiatives to attract North American travelers. These initiatives reinforced Nepal’s brand as a safe, diverse, and world-class tourism destination while showcasing its potential for adventure, cultural, and experiential travel. The events also created opportunities for building long-term collaborations between Nepali and Canadian tour operators, fostering investment, and encouraging more North American tourists to explore Nepal’s unique offerings.
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) expressed sincere appreciation to all participating companies and partners for their active engagement and collective efforts in promoting Nepal.
