In the past year, 231,334 devotees visited the Pathibhara Devi Temple, according to Prajin Hangwang, the Executive Director of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee. Specifically, in Ashadh 2080/81 alone, 2,756 devotees paid their respects at the temple. In the first month of the fiscal year, Shrawan, 1,122 pilgrims visited for worship. The committee also reported that in Bhadra, 5,000, and Asoj, 10,343 devotees visited the temple.
The temple sees an increased influx of devotees during the major festivals of Bada Dashain and the spring season. Additionally, during Chaite Dashain (Ram Navami), a significant number of pilgrims, including those from India and other countries, visit the temple. During Kartik (Dashain), the committee recorded 49,163 devotees. The numbers for the other months are as follows: 20,416 in Mangsir, 5,655 in Poush, 6,401 in Magh, 17,912 in Falgun, 52,455 in Chaitra, 8,629 in Jestha, and 2,756 in Ashadh.
Pathibhara Temple, situated at an elevation of 3,794 meters, can be accessed via the Tamor Corridor from Itahari or the Mechi Highway from Birtamod in Jhapa. The road along the Mechi Highway is paved up to Suketar, while the route from Suketar to Kaflepathi is a dirt road. Despite challenges during the rainy season, the route is generally accessible during the winter. Transportation is available up to Kaflepathi, from where it is a five-kilometer trek to the temple.
