The Pathibhara Area Development Committee has formally requested the District Administration Office of Morang to monitor and prevent unauthorized fundraising activities being carried out in the name of Pathibhara Temple. The committee sent a letter on Tuesday, expressing concern over the collection of financial aid falsely attributed to the temple’s development.
Rakki Thebe, Chairman of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, addressed the letter to the Morang district administration, highlighting the growing issue of individuals collecting financial support under false pretenses. The letter specifically mentions that funds are being solicited for the construction of a Pathibhara Temple in Morang without proper authorization, leading to public confusion and potential financial fraud.
The committee has urged the district administration to take immediate steps to halt these illegal activities and protect the temple’s name from exploitation. They also called for a thorough investigation into the matter, requesting the cooperation of local authorities and relevant agencies to prevent further misconduct. The committee emphasized the need to take legal action against those responsible for these fraudulent fundraising efforts.
The Pathibhara Area Development Committee hopes that swift measures will be implemented to safeguard public trust and ensure that no further financial irregularities occur under the guise of supporting the temple.
