Pathibhara Temple in Taplejung Collects Rs 40 Million in Donations

The Pathibhara Temple, a renowned Hindu shrine in Taplejung, has collected approximately Rs 40 million in monetary offerings. Devotees from both within Nepal and abroad visit this sacred site, contributing to the significant donation amount.

Prajin Hangbang, Executive Director of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, reported that Rs 16.42 million of this total was collected in the last four months alone. The temple experiences a notable increase in visitors during the Chaite Dashain festival, which takes place from March to April.

On Tuesday, the Committee released its annual report for the fiscal year 2080-81 BS (2023-24), revealing that a total of 231,334 devotees visited the temple during the past fiscal year.
