A small plane crashed into a house in a residential area in Minnesota on Saturday night, causing a fire, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The Socata TBM 7 aircraft crashed into the house at 12:20 AM local time on Saturday. Reports indicate that the pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft, died in the accident. Local media, citing the Brooklyn Park Fire Department, confirmed that no one survived the crash.

The FAA’s official statement confirmed that the aircraft had taken off from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was heading toward Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis when it crashed shortly after takeoff.
Eyewitnesses nearby reported to local TV station KARE 11 that a fire broke out in a house in Brooklyn Park shortly after the crash. Fire control officers stated during a press conference that no one was in the house at the time of the crash or fire.
