A plane overturned while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon (local time) when a Delta Airlines aircraft flipped over during landing.
According to Canadian media outlet CBC, 18 passengers were injured in the accident, with three in critical condition. The plane had four crew members and 76 passengers on board. The aircraft, which had departed from Minnesota, USA, overturned upon landing. The cause of the accident remains unknown.

Passengers reported that the landing felt abrupt. Following the incident, parts of the aircraft caught fire, but authorities managed to extinguish it immediately. Videos of passengers evacuating the plane have been shared on social media.
According to an audio recording from the Pearson Airport air traffic control tower, Delta Airlines was granted permission to land at 2 PM. A report by the Canadian Press stated that the control tower had warned the pilots about possible wind turbulence affecting the aircraft’s glide path. However, after that warning, there was no further communication between the tower and the pilots, CBC reported.
