A B2B (Business To Business) and sales mission event between tourism entrepreneurs from Pokhara and Chengdu, Sichuan Province, was successfully held. The program, organized by the Nepal Tourism Board, followed the first commercial chartered flight from Pokhara International Airport to Chengdu.
Both sides emphasized the need for regular Sichuan Airlines flights to enhance tourism ties. Chengdu’s tourism entrepreneurs praised Nepal tourism capital’s natural beauty and urged infrastructure development for Chinese visitors.
Mayor Dhanraj Acharya highlighted Nepal-China’s deep friendship and expressed excitement about the milestone flight. He welcomed Nepal’s Visit Year 2025 and Pokhara’s Tourism Year celebrations. Sichuan’s officials assured continued flights, strengthening tourism cooperation.
The event underscored mutual efforts to promote tourism, with commitments to regular flights and infrastructure improvements, fostering stronger tourism and business partnerships between Nepal and China.
