Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended his best wishes to all citizens on the auspicious occasions of Krishna Janmashtami and Gaura Parba, celebrated today across Nepal.

The Prime Minister shared his greetings through social media, highlighting Lord Krishna, revered in Hinduism as a symbol of love and beauty. He expressed his hope that the festivals bring joy and harmony to all.

Krishna Janmashtami, a major Hindu festival, is being observed nationwide with devotees paying homage to Lord Krishna, commemorating his birth, and celebrating his divine teachings and deeds.

Simultaneously, Gaura Parba, a significant festival particularly for the people in Nepal’s far-western and western regions, is being celebrated in honor of the Hindu deities Parvati and Shiva. To mark this occasion, a special ceremony was organized at Tundikhel, where devotees gathered to partake in traditional rituals and festivities.
