Khajura Unveils Sacred Garden: Grand Ceremony Marks Beginning

A religious garden is being constructed in Khajura. A religious ceremony has commenced today. According to Bhakta Bahadur KC, the coordinator of the ceremony’s secretariat, the garden will be built on one bigha of land belonging to the local Shiva Kalika Temple.

The ceremony has been organized to develop the temple premises into a religious and tourist area by constructing the first religious flower garden and creating a gathering place for senior citizens. He stated that the proposed religious garden near the Khajura section of the Nepalgunj-Gulariya Hulaki Highway aims to be an exceptional blend of various plants, herbs, and flowers.

During the ceremony, which will continue until Falgun 28, Supriya Kishori will narrate religious stories. Various religious activities, including Bratabandha, Chaurasi Puja, and Rudrabhishek, will be conducted throughout the event. The Shiva kalika Temple is an ancient temple in the Khajura region.
