A rescue operation at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu has successfully retrieved the captain of the Saurya Airlines aircraft involved in the recent accident. The captain, 37-year-old Manish Shakya, was safely rescued from the crash site.
He has been transported to KMC Hospital in Sinamangal for medical attention. According to SSP Dinesh Raj Mainali, spokesperson for the Kathmandu Valley Police Office in Ranipokhari, the accident occurred around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Further details about the incident are yet to be released.
