Shivapuri Gaunpalika Initiates Tourism Promotion with Waterfall Inauguration

On Saturday, the Chairman of Shivapuri Gaunpalika-8, Govinda Prasad Thapaliya, inaugurated the Thulo Chahare Waterfall (Lauke Waterfall) and the Sano Chahare Waterfall as part of a tourism development initiative by the local government.

The inauguration ceremony included the unveiling of new hiking trails and viewpoints to facilitate easier access for tourists to these natural attractions.

“We are committed to promoting tourism in our region by enhancing infrastructure and showcasing the natural beauty of our waterfalls,” Chairman Thapaliya emphasized during the event.

The Thulo Chahare Waterfall is known for its majestic cascade, drawing visitors with its scenic surroundings, while the Sano Chahare Waterfall offers a quieter retreat amidst nature.

Local authorities hope that these developments will attract more visitors to Shivapuri Gaunpalika, boosting local tourism and providing economic opportunities for the community.

The initiative aligns with broader efforts to develop Nuwakot as a prominent destination for nature tourism, leveraging its rich natural resources to benefit both residents and tourists alike.
