The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) organized a special ceremony on Thursday to recognize the highest tax-paying entities based on income declarations for the fiscal year 2080/81.

Among the awardees, Soaltee Hotel Limited emerged as the highest income tax–paying company in the tourism and hospitality sector. The renowned hotel has been acknowledged for its consistent financial performance and substantial tax contribution to the national economy. Officials stated that Soaltee’s recognition underscores the vital role of the tourism industry in Nepal’s revenue generation.

Alongside Soaltee Hotel Limited, other top taxpayers from multiple sectors were also felicitated for their exemplary compliance and contribution.
