Stakeholders Meet in New Delhi to Promote Tri-Nation Tourism Between Nepal, India, and China

A meeting was recently held in New Delhi, India, to develop a strategy for promoting tri-nation tourism involving Nepal, India, and China. The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter issued a press statement today, highlighting the meeting’s significance in strengthening cooperation with the Indian business community.

The primary focus of the meeting was to ensure the success of the upcoming Nepal-India-China Expo (NICE), which is scheduled to take place from February 24-26 in Pokhara. According to PATA Nepal Chapter, NICE will be the first-of-its-kind tri-nation tourism expo, bringing together key tourism and hospitality stakeholders from the public and private sectors of Nepal, India, and China on a single platform.

The event is expected to offer unparalleled networking and business opportunities, providing attendees with valuable industry insights and inspirational experiences that could shape the future of cross-border tourism.

Suresh Singh Budal, CEO of PATA Nepal Chapter, along with Upal Majumdar, the NICE goodwill ambassador for India, consulted with prominent tourism entrepreneurs in New Delhi to ensure the effective organization of the expo. The stakeholders expressed strong support for Nepal’s initiative to promote tourism and foster cross-border cooperation within the tourism sector.

In December, Budal had also visited China for promotional efforts, where he consulted with the Chinese business community to further advance the success of NICE.

The upcoming expo promises to be a pivotal moment for tri-nation tourism, creating new opportunities for collaboration and growth in the tourism industry across Nepal, India, and China.
