A blood donation event organized by tourism entrepreneurs was successfully held last Saturday on the premises of the Aagantuk Hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu. The second blood donation drive was organized by Aagantuk Hotel in collaboration with Himalaya Blood Bank.
A total of 87 donors participated in the event, and Bhavi Sharma, the owner of Aagantuk Hotel in Kathmandu, expressed his commitment to making blood donation a regular campaign. He announced that the third blood donation event will be held in three months.
Sharma thanked all the donors, Himalaya Blood Bank, hotel staff, and volunteers for their participation, encouraging them to continue supporting similar initiatives in the future. He also requested those interested in donating blood to follow health guidelines and assured that further details about upcoming events will be shared in a timely manner.
According to Sharma, the first blood donation event held on Mangsir 22 had 80 donors, and the second event saw higher participation than expected, which he described as encouraging for the continuity of the blood donation campaign.
