Vietnam Airlines has announced the launch of a new direct flight route between Ho Chi Minh City and Denpasar, Bali, starting on June 1, 2025. This new service is aimed at strengthening the air connectivity between Vietnam and Indonesia, providing travelers with easier access to one of Asia’s most sought-after destinations. The route will be Vietnam Airlines’ second direct service to Indonesia, bringing the total number of weekly flights between the two countries to 14. Initially, the airline will operate four round-trip flights per week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Starting from July 2025, this frequency will increase to daily service, offering more flexibility for travelers.

At the launch event, the Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam, Denny Abdi, emphasized the critical role that enhanced air connectivity plays in fostering tourism and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Indonesia. With Ho Chi Minh City being Vietnam’s economic powerhouse and Bali standing as one of the world’s premier tourist destinations, this direct route is expected to significantly increase the flow of both leisure travelers and business exchanges between the two nations. The airline aims to meet the rising travel demand and provide a seamless experience for tourists and professionals looking to explore or engage in business activities in Bali.

The direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Bali will be operated using modern Airbus A321 aircraft, ensuring a comfortable and efficient travel experience for passengers. The Airbus A321 is known for its spacious and premium cabin features, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Vietnam Airlines intends to offer world-class services, ensuring that passengers enjoy a smooth and enjoyable journey while having direct access to Bali’s scenic landscapes and rich cultural experiences.
