Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Ltd. has officially announced a public offering of 10,00,000 shares, priced at Rs. 100 each. The announcement was made during a signing ceremony where Mr. Lekhnath Pokhel, Managing Director of Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited, and Mr. Jagannath Gyawali, Executive Chairman of Thamel Plaza Hotel & Suites Limited, finalized a contract for the management of the issuance and sale of these shares.
Nepal SBI Merchant Banking, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nepal SBI Bank Limited, provides a wide range of financial services, including investment management, securities issuance, and sales management.
Thamel Plaza Hotel & Suites, known as “Ramada Encore Kathmandu Thamel,” operates as a four-star hotel offering 90 rooms for both domestic and international guests. The hotel has entered into a technology transfer agreement with Wyndham Hotel Asia Pacific, which manages over 9,100 hotels worldwide, including 851 under the RAMADA brand.
This public offering marks a significant step for both Nepal SBI Merchant Banking and Thamel Plaza Hotel & Suites, aiming to enhance their financial and operational capabilities in the competitive market.
