Two highly esteemed individuals, Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya and Mr. Narendra Dev Bhatta, have been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), which is a significant development for the country’s tourist sector.

Mr. Narendra Dev Bhatta, General Secretary of PATTA, renowned for his extensive experience and long-standing contribution to the tourism sector, has been recognized as a mentor figure in the industry. With decades of hands-on involvement and in-depth knowledge of tourism operations, his inclusion in the NTB Executive Committee is regarded as a strategic move to enhance the board’s leadership and vision.

Alongside him, Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya, a dynamic and rising tourism entrepreneur, has also been appointed. Mr. Thapaliya currently serves as the President of the Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents (NATTA). His appointment represents the growing recognition of young professionals who are helping to innovate and modernize Nepal’s tourism sector.
Both appointees bring a balanced blend of experience and youth to the NTB. While Mr. Bhatta holds the position of General Secretary at the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter, Mr. Thapaliya’s active engagement in national and international tourism affairs has made him a standout personality among the emerging tourism leaders of Nepal.
