The newly established ‘Thumki Resort and Farmhouse’ in Balthali, Kavre, has been steadily gaining popularity among visitors. Located approximately 40 kilometers from Kathmandu, the resort has become a preferred destination for family gatherings and seminars.

To enhance the visitor experience, plans are underway to introduce additional amenities such as a swimming pool, steam rooms, saunas, and jacuzzis. Additionally, the resort features ample parking facilities and a farm. To attract children, a 20-ropani children’s park is also in the pipeline.
“We launched the resort in 2024, and it has already gained significant traction among families and organizations hosting annual general meetings and seminars,” Neupane stated. He added that the organic food and exceptional services have led to high customer retention, with many first-time visitors returning for another stay. The resort currently operates with 20 luxury rooms, with plans to expand by adding 30 more shortly.
