Tourism Collaboration Agreement Signed Between Nepal and Bangladesh

Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) and the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) have formalized a partnership aimed at enhancing tourism between their countries.

NATTA’s President, Kumar Mani Thapaliya, and General Secretary, Yubika Bhandari, along with TOAB’s President and Trade and Fair Director, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to solidify this collaboration.

Key aspects of the agreement include joint marketing campaigns and the organization of introductory tours to draw tourists to both nations. Additionally, the partnership will focus on promoting Buddhist archaeological sites, co-hosting seminars, exchanging tourism information, and enhancing industry capacities through targeted training and workshops.

This strategic collaboration is anticipated to significantly boost the tourism industries of Nepal and Bangladesh, fostering stronger bilateral ties and promoting cultural exchange.
