Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, expressed concerns over the challenging state of Nepal Airlines. Speaking at the launch of “Adha Satabdi,” a memoir written by tourism entrepreneur Ram Prasad Sapkota, on Monday, Minister Pandey remarked, “Nepal Airlines has declined significantly.
It is in a very weak condition. We have not been able to secure its future. Safeguarding the civil aviation sector remains a challenge. However, if we can improve this sector, it will contribute significantly to the development of tourism.”
Minister Pandey also commended the author for addressing the issues and irregularities within the tourism sector in his book, emphasizing the need for all stakeholders to work with integrity to bring about necessary reforms. In his remarks, Minister Pandey reaffirmed his commitment to the dedicated advancement of the tourism sector in Nepal.
