Tourist Guide Association of Nepal to Host 8th National Tourist Guide Conference

The Tourist Guide Association of Nepal (TURGAN) is set to host the 8th “National Tourist Guide Conference-2081” on Wednesday, 19th Ashadh 2081 (3rd July 2024). Under the main slogan “Respect of Pathfinders, our contribution to sustainable identity and quality tourism,” this significant event aims to highlight the vital role of tourist guides in promoting sustainable and high-quality tourism in Nepal.

The conference will be held at the Royal Empire Boutique Hotel in Garidhara, Kathmandu, starting at 8:30 am. The event will be graced by the chief guest, Hon. Hit Bahadur Tamang, the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation. The presence of the minister underscores the importance of the conference in shaping the future of Nepal’s tourism sector.

Participants are requested to contribute an entry fee of Rs. 500. The entry fee will cover the cost of the morning lunch, which has been arranged for all attendees to enjoy while networking and sharing insights about the industry.
