The number of foreign tourists arriving in Manang, despite the cold winter season, has been notably positive. In January, a total of 618 tourists from 46 different countries visited the region. This is a significant number considering the usual drop in tourists during winter months.

The most notable influx of tourists came from China, with 199 Chinese visitors arriving in Manang, likely due to the Chinese New Year celebrations. Alongside them, 106 Indian tourists also visited the area.

In past years, foreign tourist activity during the winter season was typically low, but this year, there has been an increase in the number of international visitors.
