Tumlingtar Airport, which had been closed for the past 10 days due to adverse weather conditions, reopened today, allowing flights to resume to the capital city. According to Nawaraj Dahal, Chief of the Civil Aviation Office, flights between Kathmandu and Sankhuwasabha airport have restarted as weather conditions have become favorable. The closure was caused by low visibility due to heavy fog and other weather-related disruptions.

Private airlines operating in the region have been providing services at the airport, and they have resumed normal operations following the reopening. Travelers can now expect regular flight schedules between Sankhuwasabha and Kathmandu after the extended weather-related interruption.
