Vistara Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Turkey After Bomb Threat

A Vistara Airlines flight en route from India to Germany made an emergency landing in Turkey after receiving a bomb threat. The flight, identified as VT-027, was carrying 234 passengers and 13 crew members, traveling from Mumbai, India, to Frankfurt, Germany.

Turkish authorities reported that the aircraft made an emergency landing in eastern Turkey after claims of a bomb being onboard. The plane landed safely, and all passengers were evacuated without any harm at Erzurum Airport.

Following the incident, bomb disposal units were dispatched, and trained sniffer dogs were deployed to inspect the aircraft. However, by Friday evening, no explosives were found either at the airport or inside the plane.

In a statement, Vistara Airlines confirmed that the flight was diverted to Turkey due to security concerns but emphasized that the plane landed safely. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are ensuring all necessary safety measures.
