With assistance from Bhanu Municipality, the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Tanahun, organized a water adventure (Jal Bihār) in the Marsyangdi River. Today’s event, which promoted local tourism, took place from Bhanu-9 to Bandipur Rural Municipality-5.

According to Dhanapati Adhikari, the Federation’s district chair, the event was organized in collaboration with the municipality to investigate and promote the river’s potential for water tourism. “Journalists will support tourism in Bhanu by promoting this possibility through media coverage,” he stated.

Journalist Kiran Shrestha, who participated, added that the Marsyangdi River has a lot of potential for water-based tourism and that public relations campaigns can increase the area’s allure. An interaction program with an emphasis on tourism development and adventure travel in the Marsyangdi River was held at Chitikhola Homestay in Bhanu-9 prior to the river activity.

Aananda raj Tripathi, the mayor of Bhanu Municipality, stressed that the municipality places a high priority on promoting tourism and protecting popular tourist spots. He also emphasized the necessity of cooperation and the critical role that journalists play in promoting travel.
